Catalog description
This course focuses on the complexity of policy development that governs the superintendent and the district. Research and law, ethics, values, equity, and data-driven decision making will guide management decisions and strategically shape policy decisions. Students will learn to actively engage in reflective practice to constructively manage and adapt to change. This course will also include public relations strategies for communicating policy and influencing constituents within the context of social justice. Prerequisites: Completed M.Ed.
