Catalog description

The study of practices within education from both the legal and ethical perspectives. Values, morality and ethics are addressed from historical and current frameworks and applied to legal and practical questions of practical importance to educators. Includes field experience of 15 hours to investigate English language learning classroom practices. This course is part of a program that leads to Missouri certification. Students who do not live in Missouri will be required to sign an attestation that they will complete their field experiences and student teaching in Missouri and will work in Missouri upon graduation. Prerequisite: Graduate Standing.
