Catalog description

This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to secure networks, devices, and data against potential threats. This course covers a wide range of topics, including cryptography, network security, identity and access management, and risk management. The course also covers identity and access management, including authentication and authorization techniques. Students will learn about user and group management, password policies, and the use of multi-factor authentication to increase security. In addition to technical topics, the course covers risk management and its role in information security. Students will learn about risk assessment and analysis, security policies and procedures, and incident response planning.
