BUSINESS DATA ANALYTICS

Catalog description
This course introduces students to tools and techniques data analytics in a business context. Students will explore the fundamentals of data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using Python and the Pandas library. Topics include: Python programming basics, data loading and cleaning, data presentation and aggregation, data visualization, time series analysis, regression modeling, and an overview of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Through hands-on projects and real-world case studies, students will develop practical skills to transform raw data into actionable business insights. Prerequisites: MATH 250 or BIOL 224/PSYC 224/SOCI 224.
