Philosophical foundations and collaborative strategies for teachers and other professionals working with families with young children. Parent education and involvement; family dynamics; child abuse; child care; and the relationship between child, family, community, and educators will be discussed. Prerequisites: PSYC 101 or EDUC 396/PSYC 396.
