Atomic theory, chemical bonding, periodic properties, states of matter, reactions, oxidation-reduction, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, inorganic nomenclature. Prerequisite: CHEM 111 and MATH 120 . Corequisite: None. Registration Information: One year of high school chemistry strongly recommended. Satisfactory placement score on California Chemistry Diagnostic test may be accepted in place of CHEM 111 . Equivalent Accuplacer score may be accepted in place of MATH 120 . (Gen Ed: ST, GT-SC2)
