Catalog description

In this course, the student is introduced to an overview of the foundation of patients’ safety within the healthcare environment. The identification and levels of potential harm, tools utilized for measuring risk, and methods for improvement are provided. Case studies are applied as a basis for developing a patient safety handbook and training tool for staff.
