Catalog description

This course introduces students to the principles and practices of sustainable project management, emphasizing the integration of environmental, social, economic, and administrative considerations throughout the project lifecycle. Students will apply sustainable methodologies to project planning, execution, monitoring, and control, aligning with the principles of the Green Project Manager Level B (GPM-b) certification. Through hands-on exercises, case studies, and real-world examples, students will develop the skills necessary to lead projects that create positive social and environmental impact while achieving business objectives. A key component of this course is the development of a Project Sustainability Toolkit, designed to be used on real-world projects and presented to senior management to demonstrate its value and benefits. Upon completion, students will be prepared to demonstrate their commitment to sustainable project management by taking the GPM-b exam.
