Operations Management Practicum

Catalog description

This course is designed for students to participate in an operations management capacity on the staff of an organization that manages and implements operations. It serves as an opportunity to demonstrate program outcomes learned in the B.S. in Operations and Supply Chain Management program under the supervision of both faculty and organization personnel. Assignments include weekly journals; a mid-term conference with the instructor, faculty practicum coordinator, and on-site supervisor; and a final report.
