This graduate-level course integrates foundational database concepts with applied statistical analysis using R. Students will explore the relational database model, focusing on database design, normalization, and querying using SQL. Concurrently, the course covers essential statistical techniques, including descriptive statistics, probability, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis. Through hands-on projects and exercises in R, students will gain practical experience in managing data and conducting analyses that support informed business decision-making.
