Catalog description

Students will gain an overview of the organizational structures common to long term care facilities. Students will examine the differences and similarities between nursing homes, assisted living, residential care, retirement homes and hospice care. The role of operations and daily management will be emphasized through course outcomes and activities. The student will also examine the theory and practice of service delivery within the healthcare organization.
