Catalog description
In this course, students explore physiological processes associated with disease or injury. Students will study alterations in physiological, cellular, and biochemical processes, the associated homeostatic responses, and the manifestations of disease. Students will also study the impact of risk factors associated with pathophysiology, such as genetics, environment, behaviors, and lifestyle, to provide a foundation for the prevention of disease, and the maintenance and restoration of health and well-being. Students cannot receive credit for BIO2016-D and HSC343 as they are considers duplicative
