Catalog description

This course presents an overview of the roles played by the various markets, institutions, and financial authorities. Specific topics include an introduction the U.S. financial system, the supply and demand for loan funds, securities, and obligations. Emphasis is placed upon policy effects of financial institutions and markets upon various sectors of the economy.
