Catalog description

Through lecture and lab experience, students will demonstrate an understanding of basic concepts in chemistry such as nomenclature, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, the periodic table, the electronic structure, bonding, and gas laws. This course fulfills a general education Natural and Physical Science lecture and laboratory requirement. Recommended Prerequisite: MTH166.
