Introduction to Chemistry

Catalog description

In Introduction to Chemistry, students will cover a broad range of topics from chemistry in our lives to matter, energy, atoms and elements, nuclear chemistry, compounds, reactions, and solution chemistry. Students will apply this theoretical knowledge in applied laboratory experiences. This course fulfills a general education Natural and Physical Science lecture and laboratory requirement. This is an approved Colorado gtPathways course (GT-SC1).
