Catalog description

BIO200 is the first of a two-course sequence. It pertains to a systematic review of the structure and functioning of the cells, tissues and organs of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems of the human body. At the conclusion of the course, the student will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the structure and function of the human body, interrelationships in systems and regulation of physiological functions involved in maintaining homeostasis in the body. This course fulfills a General Education Natural and Physical Science requirement.
