Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of managerial accounting concepts and techniques used in organizational decision-making. Students will learn how to analyze financial and non-financial data to support strategic and operational decisions. Key topics include cost analysis, cost accounting systems, cost-volume-profit analysis (CVP), product costing, capital budgeting, operational budgets, variance analysis, performance measurement, the balanced scorecard, financial statement analysis, and the cashflow statement. Recommended Prior Course: ACT360.
