Catalog description
Space systems and infrastructure are susceptible to cyber vulnerabilities. This course focuses on protection and risk mitigation for malicious cyber activities against space assets, identification of attack vectors, and vulnerabilities to space systems. Students apply cybersecurity principles to the space domain and learn best practices for sustaining a secure cyber environment throughout the space mission lifecycle. Emphasis is on practical applications for real-world space mission scenarios. Recommended: CYSM 6100 or cybersecurity certification/experience. Prer., Graduate students only. Meets with CYSM 6600.
