Selected topics in Spanish or Latin American cultural production. Contents will vary according to the instructor and the research interests of the class. Possible themes include post World War II artists, literary works, film, or aesthetic movements, the boom, aspects of culture in Spain after Franco (through cinema, through literature, through art). May be repeated once for credit if the topic is different. Prer., SPAN 3000 or instructor consent. Meets with SPAN 5400.
