Catalog description

Consideration of structural origins of poverty; the underclass and the dual economy. Analysis and evaluation of consequences of poverty, especially in relation to family, children, and career. Review of antipoverty programs. Approved for Compass Curriculum: Inclusiveness-Diversity & Power Dynamics (Global/Indigenous). Meets with WEST 4200.
