Provides a foundation for exploration of chronic health conditions of adults and families across the life span. Focuses on assessment, prevention, and management, incorporating concepts from pathophysiology, psycho/social, culture, political, theory, evidence-based practice, and spiritual framework. Requires practicum hours. Prer., All 6000 level MSN core courses and all advanced practice core (NURS 6730, NURS 6740, NURS 6280).
