Music is an essential part of dynamic immersion, storytelling, and engagement in video games of all types. Students will learn how to identify musical tropes, genres, and styles that are responsible for heightening players’ connections to this impactful medium. This course is for non-music majors without any prerequisites. Approved for Compass Curriculum: Explore-Arts, Humanities and Cultures.
