Catalog description
An introduction to applied numerical methods for aerospace engineering problem solving using MATLAB. Topics covered include root finding, optimization, solution of linear systems of equations, curve fitting, numerical integration and differentiation, and numerical solution of ODEs. Prer., MATH 3130, MATH 3400, MAE 1090. College of Engineering students only. Meets with MAE 4020.
