Catalog description

This is the first of two courses for undergraduate students seeking to attain HPNU’s Honors designation, which appears on their transcripts and is awarded at graduation upon completion of a supervised Research Thesis or Professional Internship. Prer., To be considered for the program, interested students must have the following: 1) Junior status to register (project completed in their senior year), 2) Declared major in Exercise Science or Human Physiology and Nutrition, 3) Sponsorship by a HPNU Department faculty member (Research Thesis) or eligible host business (Professional Internship), 4) a GPA of 3.5 or above.
