Introduces Python programming for GIS. Students learn basic syntax, variables, loops, and functions, then apply these skills through weekly quizzes and labs to automate geoprocessing workflows and build tools in ESRI ArcGIS, with an additional independent final project. Prer., GES 3030 or GES 5030. Meets with GES 4130.
