Catalog description

Concerned with the optimal allocation of a company's financial resources and a working knowledge of financial terminology and concepts. Topics include: capital market history, time value of money, valuation of securities, risk and return, capital budgeting principles and techniques, financial statement analysis, financial planning, raising capital, and cost of capital. Emphasizes techniques necessary to create and maximize the value of the firm. Prer., ACCT 6100. Graduate students only.
