Entrepreneur - Mindset&Action
University of Colorado Colorado Springs · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
Entrepreneurship belongs to more people than most realize. Whether you're a business major sharpening your founder instincts or a student in any other field who never expected to think like an entrepreneur, this course meets you where you are. Through hands-on projects, real-world experimentation, and creative problem-solving, students learn to test ideas quickly, build with whatever resources are available, and turn ambitious thinking into action. Along the way, we explore how innovation disrupts outdated systems, how resourcefulness often matters more than capital, and how a compelling story can open doors that a business plan alone cannot. This course is designed for anyone with a goal and limited resources to achieve it - all it requires is curiosity and courage to stretch your comfort zone. Approved for Compass Curriculum: Explore-Society, Health and Behavior.
