Catalog description

This course aims to explore government intervention in the economy, examining the impact of expenditure programs and taxation on citizens. It thoroughly covers the theoretical foundations guiding government involvement, current public finance issues, empirical evaluation of policies, and considers the justification for such intervention. Prer., ECON 1010 or ECON 1050 with a "C" or better.
