Catalog description
This course is designed to outline evidenced-based treatment approaches in the addictions field. Includes a focus on skill development, conducting a client interview, using the OARS, and a brief introduction to MIA:STEP. Meets the OBH competencies for MI (21 hours) and Adv MI (14 hours). Prer., Instructor permission is required. Meets with COUN 3600.
