Catalog description

In this course we will explore theory and research on why we enjoy specific types of entertainment fare. Topics include morally ambiguous characters, meaningful versus enjoyable media experiences, series finales, the appeal of tragic content, and many others. Approved for Compass Curriculum requirement: Summit. Prer., Sophomore Standing. Meets with COMM 6740.
