Video Production for Social Media teaches students how to establish an online presence through production of videos tailored for online social media platforms. You will learn the technical aspects of filming, including staging, lighting and composition, video and audio editing, and exporting and compressing for optimum social media distribution and examine common media metrics to determine the success of your content and maximize your brand presence. Prer., Sophomore standing or instructor permission. Meets with COMM 5120.
