Catalog description

This course introduces business analytics basics, focusing on how to describe data and make data-driven decisions. Topics covered include essential descriptive analytics and statistical methods, with emphasis on applying these techniques to real-world business problems. Students will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, like Microsoft Excel and Python, while studying data visualization, probability distributions, regression analysis, and business analytical techniques. Through applied projects, students will develop the technical and analytical skills necessary for decision making in business environments. The course combines statistical theory with practical applications, preparing students to leverage business analytics for solving complex business challenges. Prer., Graduate Students Only.
