Catalog description

Laboratory-based course to explore cell biology using mammalian tissue culture. Students learn fundamental tissue cell culture skills, including sterile and aseptic technique, media preparation, cell counting and subculturing. Students also employ various molecular techniques to introduce genetic changes and observe phenotypic responses. Prer., Graduate Standing in BIOL or permission of instructor. Meets with BIOL 4100.
