Catalog description
The methods and results of modern astronomy (solar systems and stars) at an elementary level. Approved for LAS Natural Science area requirement. Students are highly encouraged to register also for any or both of the lab classes ASTR 1090 and ASTR 1100 to get a practical feel of Astronomy. Approved for Compass Curriculum requirement: Explore-Physical and Natural World. GT-SC2.
