Four lecture. Arithmetic concepts with integers, fractions, and decimals, including signed numbers. Solving linear equations and evaluating algebraic expressions. Students will be able to: perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and exponentiation on real numbers; use order of operations with real numbers; simplify and evaluate algebraic expressions; solve linear equations and check solutions; and solve application problems.
