Four Lecture. This is the second of a two-course series (CIS161 and CIS171) designed to provide students with a working knowledge of Linux. This course is aligned with the CompTIA Linux+ certification. Students will be able to: install, configure, and monitor kernel modules; manage and configure networking; compare and contrast cloud, virtualization, and orchestration concepts; manage services and automate/schedule jobs; explain linux security best practices; backup, restore, and compress files; analyze system and process monitoring; Write and deploy BASH scripts. Prerequisite(s): CIS 161
