Prereq/Corequisite(s): THEA 130 Performance I is a studio course introducing foundational tools for contemporary performance-making across diverse styles and disciplines. Emphasizing embodied practice, collaboration, and creative inquiry, students explore movement, voice, improvisation, text, and devising to develop expressive and adaptable performance skills. Through solo and ensemble projects, reflective writing, and audition preparation, the course fosters creativity, versatility, and artistic agency— preparing students for advanced study and varied performance contexts.
