Introduction to Dance

Catalog description

Restriction(s): Audition for placement required. Introduction to Dance is an entry-level course for the beginning dancer. Emphasis is placed on identifying proper form and technique, increasing body awareness, building movement vocabulary, and improving physical conditioning and stamina, especially through exploration of the basics of ballet and jazz dance.
