Catalog description

This course focuses on theoretical and practical study of leading groups in outdoor recreation and education setting. Specific outdoor leadership skills are discussed, including lesson design and teaching style, expedition planning, emergency procedures, risk management, minimum impact approaches, and working with various clients.
