Catalog description

Introduces the fundamental elements of crisis and issues management, covering the key phases of before, during, and after a crisis. Students learn the crisis management process: prevention, preparation, response, and long-term (crisis recovery). Emphasis is placed on the practical application of crisis communications theory, and may include real-life case studies, and guest lectures by crisis response experts and practitioners.
