Marine Environmental Issues

Catalog description

Emphasis is placed on the solutions and future impacts. Students are presented overviews of several environmental issues and will generate a comprehensive analysis of the associated technical, economic, social and political issues and proposed solutions. The class meets with several state and federal agencies involved in present day environmental issues providing students with exposure to “real world” applications. Each student will be required to give an oral presentation. Semester(s) Offered: Fall
