A grade of ‘C’ or better in MSCI 302 / MSCI 302L or BIOL 370 / BIOL 370L Corequisite(s): MSCI 478L A comprehensive survey of the biology, functional morphology, life history, ecology, and relationships between marine invertebrate taxa. Focus will be on the Porifera, Cnidaria, Ctenophora, Platyhelminthes, Annelida, Arthropoda, Mollusca, Echinodermata, and invertebrate members of Chordata. Global issues related to invertebrates and their roles in food webs, fisheries, and aquaculture will also be discussed. Three lecture hours per week. Semester(s) Offered: Fall
