Italian Studies I

Catalog description

This class introduces students to the Italian language and the many facets of Italian culture. This course also helps students develop the basic language skills of speaking, listening, and communicating in everyday situations in Italian culture. As a hybrid course, three credit hours are delivered face-to-face and two hours via distance learning activities. This course is designed for absolute beginners and is not open to native speakers of Italian or students who already possess significant skills in the language as determined by the instructor.
