Catalog description

Restriction(s): Permission of instructor The purpose of the internship is to provide students with practical training and experience in security-related work and to introduce them to local, regional and national employers in the field. Students may do an internship for academic credit of three 3 hours and must work at least 120 hours at an organization during the semester registered. Grades are determined by a combination of the evaluation of the internship performance by the facility supervisor and faculty supervisor. Requirements are specifically stated in a contract to be signed by the student, faculty supervisor and facility supervisor. Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring
