Restriction(s): Permission of the instructor This course is an experiential learning “study away” program. The course provides students an opportunity to learn about the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) by visiting a number of IC member agencies and organizations. Students gain first-hand knowledge of the organization, structure, and operation of the IC agencies and their role in providing national intelligence products to senior policy makers in the U.S. Government. Students also visit think tanks, universities, and meet with non-governmental organizations and members of Congress in order to learn about how intelligence agencies and other institutions support decision-makers implementing national security policy. Students also research, write, and present a simulated National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) during the program to intelligence instructors in the IC. Semester(s) Offered: Offered as needed
