Catalog description
A grade of C or better in INTEL 200 This class examines representations of intelligence in popular media. Most people learn about intelligence activities via spy movies, television shows, and novels. These media shape public views regarding the role of intelligence in a democratic society, often creating inaccurate or distorted views regarding how intelligence agencies function. But in surprising ways, such media also affect how intelligence officers think about their careers, judge their performance, and even how they talk and think about intelligence operations and analysis.
