INTEL 200 or permission of the instructor An advanced course that examines the theoretical tenets and diverse applications of human intelligence (HUMINT) methods in collection operations. The guiding principles and legal parameters of overt and clandestine HUMINT are studied as integral elements of collection activities that take place in both domestic and international settings. A host of counterintelligence concerns, which arise from factors ranging from rapid technological advancements, to the proliferation of increasingly sophisticated sub-state actors, are also considered.
