Introduction to Resort Tourism Management

Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the exciting and diverse hospitality and tourism industry, in the context of resort destination areas. Through classroom lectures, in which industry guest speakers will participate, case studies and off-campus industry site visits students gain an understanding of the scope and complexity of the industry. This course discusses the many internship and career opportunities in resort areas of the hospitality and tourism industry. Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring
