Internship in History

Catalog description

Restriction(s): Permission of the adviser and department chair required This course is open to students with a minimum 2.50 GPA and who have completed at least 15 credit hours at the time of enrollment. Off-campus internships may include additional requirements, including a minimum 3.00 GPA and completion of at least 12 credit hours of history. Zero to one credit hour is equivalent to at least 40 hours of employment; each additional credit hour is 40 more hours. The purpose of the internship is to provide students with practical training and experience in history-related work and to introduce them to local, regional and national employers in fields of applied history. The course may be repeated under different topics for up to 12 credit hours. Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
