Topics in Russian & Eastern European History

Catalog description

This course explores selected themes in the history of Russia and Eastern Europe from the late eighteenth century to the present. Topics vary by semester and may address imperial transformation, nationalism, revolution and reform, war and memory, authoritarian rule, and the region’s shifting geopolitical landscape. The course can be repeated for up to six credit hours under different topics. Semester(s) Offered: Offered as needed
